LG Professionals NT offers several opportunities specifically for CEOs, Directors and Senior Leaders in local government. These professional development opportunities are to inspire, develop strategic insight and to build a community of connected industry leaders from around the country.
Domestic Delegation
Monday 11 to 14 Thursday 11 August 2025
Having observed the invaluable learning experiences participants gained through the international delegations, we are excited to offer a similar opportunity through our Domestic Delegation, this year hosted in NSW. The program will facilitate two days of site visits to recent and innovative projects and to engage with senior leaders at each council. Participants will then attend the state conference, LGC25 in Sydney.

Canberra Behind the Scenes
Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 September 2025
Designed to foster engagement between local government professionals and Australian Federal Government Departments, this program provides a platform for CEOs, Directors and Senior Leaders to participate in meaningful discussions about policies and programs that impact local government.
Registrations close 1 August 2025, or when maximum numbers are reached.

USA Delegation
Tuesday 21 to Wednesday 29 October 2025
This unique development opportunity enables senior leaders to connect with international colleagues as we facilitate site visits to experience their recent and innovative projects. Delegates will visit projects in Miami, Orlando and Tampa local government areas. As part of the delegation, participants will join the ICMA Conference, the largest local government conference in the world, this year held in Tampa.
